I'm part of a quilting group at church and we just started our quilts for this year. It's a sampler quilt made up of 17 different types of squares. We'll be learning how to appliqué, which I'm really looking forward to. I chose fabrics from a line called "In the Pink" by Buggy Barn. I'm loving all the different shades of pinks and browns!

Olivia's Olivia Quilt

Yay! It's finally done! It's small (about 50x50) and it's not perfect, but I'm not embarrassed to send it off so I guess that says something about it!

This is the first "real" quilt I've completed. Jay reminded me that I did make 3 rag quilts one Christmas, but those quilts are pretty forgiving. I contemplated machine stitching the binding on, but I wanted it to look pretty so I hand-stitched it. It took several hours, but I am pleased with the result :)
